Avalokiteshvara Buddhist Center in Denver ~ Meditation and Buddhism in Colorado

Chanted Meditations (Pujas)

The chanted meditations at Avalokiteshvara Buddhist Center, known as ‘pujas’, follow a range of Buddhist prayer booklets prepared by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and published by Tharpa Publications. These prayer booklets, known as sadhanas, can also be used for individual practice and are available for purchase in our bookstore or from Tharpa Publications - www.tharpa.com.

Engaging in pujas is a special method for purifying negativity, accumulating merit and receiving blessings. It helps us to develop and maintain a positive mind, and is a powerful preparation for meditation.

Everyone is welcome to attend all the pujas except for the Highest Yoga Tantra Pujas (HYT). There is no need to preregister and there is no fee.
