Kadampa Buddhist Study Programs

All Kadampa centers offer three special study programs - the General Program, Foundation Program, and Teacher Training Program.

These programs, designed by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for the systematic study and practice of Kadampa Buddhism, are especially suited to the modern world:

General Program

The General Program (GP) is open to all. It provides a basic introduction to Buddhist teachings and meditations. Through these classes we can learn how to use Buddha's advice in our daily lives to solve our problems and find the peace and happiness we seek.

Visit our meditation classes page for GP class times and locations.

Foundation Program

The Foundation Program (FP) is for those who wish to deepen their understanding and experience of Buddhism by engaging in systematic study of five essential Buddhist texts.

FP is currently offered:
Sundays & Mondays: 7:00-9:00pm

Current book of study: Joyful Path of Good Fortune
