The Empowerment of Amitayus

(followed by an optional retreat on Sunday the 4th)

Amitayus is the Buddha of long life, good fortune, and wisdom. During this special Dharma weekend, Gen Kelsang Losel will grant the blessing empowerment of Buddha Amitayus, inspiring our mind with positive energy. She will also teach blissful guided meditations to strengthen our own and others' life-span, increase our good fortune, and enrich our lives with a transforming wisdom. Everyone is welcome to attend.

What is an Empowerment?

At an empowerment we receive special blessings that heal our mental continuum and awaken our Buddha nature. Once we have received an empowerment, if we rely sincerely upon that Buddha with strong faith, we will directly receive their protection, blessings and care in this life and in life after life.
