Kadampa Buddhist Temples

A Buddhist Temple is a unique place, a blessed and holy place.

It is a place that will have a positive influence on millions of people now and in the future, a perfect environment for the growth of true human qualities such as love, compassion and wisdom.

A Buddhist Temple is a source of peace for everyone – a focus of world peace.

As Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso says,

"Just looking at a Temple with a happy mind places good imprints on our mind and brings inner peace.

Through the power of this special object, problems such as anger and attachment are reduced."

Denver Buddhist Temple Denver

In Denver, we are looking for a church or similar building that can become our Temple. As you know, if you have attended one of our popular Wednesday night General Program Classes with our Resident Teacher, we're desperately in need of a larger building.

Perhaps we can find a building like this (left) that could be converted into a Buddhist Temple.

If you would like to help us in this project, donations to our temple fund are welcome.

The International Temples Project

The International Temples Project was established by Venerable Geshe Kelsang in the early nineties.

The vision is to build a Kadampa Temple for World Peace in every major city in the world.

The project is funded entirely by voluntary donations and revenue from International Buddhist Festivals.
